ANNOUNCEMENT
Commenting on press reports, according to which there is an unusual increase in unpaid electricity bills, PPC clarifies that, based on the most recently available data:
• There is no significant change in the behavior of PPC clients regarding the payment of electricity bills.
• Today, six days following the due date of the first electricity bills which include the Real Estate Special Levy imposed by Law 4021/11, more than 73% of the total bills issued have been already collected. Specifically, out of the 86,187 bills that became due, 63,082 have already been collected.
Consequently, the relevant data show that the payment pattern of the great majority of PPC clients has not changed following the imposition of the real estate special levy.
