PPC S.A. announces that the Board of Directors at its meeting of April 28th 2010, approved the signing of the Shareholders Agreement for the establishment of a joint venture company between PPC S.A and Urbaser S.A.
The company will be responsible for the study, performance of projects and the rendering of all types of services related to (a) waste management in general, (b) electricity generation from and/or related to waste management, and (c) urban and industrial waste water treatment, within the territory of Greece.
Urbaser belongs to the group of companies "ACS" and is active in the area of waste management providing services to a global population of 50 million. Urbaser is present in Europe, North & South America. Africa, India and Middle East and employs 32.000 people.
