The management of PPC S.A. informs the investors' community that the discussions between PPC S.A. and Aluminium S.A. resulted in a framework agreement based on which, as outlined in the relevant decision of the Board of Directors of PPC, the two companies will proceed with the signing of a new supply contract.
According to the framework agreement, the following are in force until 31/12/2013:
1. PPC S.A. will supply electricity to Aluminium S.A. for the hours that are within the minimum load demand zone, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, with a charge of € 40.70/MWh, which corresponds to the current level of A 150 tariff for the hours of minimum load demand.
2. For the remaining hours, Aluminium S.A. will cover its needs through self supply of electricity.
3. In addition, and under the same framework agreement, the financial disputes that had arisen in the past, are settled.
