PPC S.A. announces that with respect to the resignation of the seven members of the Board of Directors, which were submitted yesterday (19/11/2009), the Chairman and CEO of the Company, Mr P. Athanassopoulos, made today (Friday 20/11/2009) the following statement :
"I intend to activate the validity of the submitted resignations of the members of the Board of Directors (representing the Greek State as majority shareholder, and the Minority shareholders) on December 14, 2009.
Until then, the Board of Directors of PPC S.A. will continue to carry out all its obligations in accordance with the Law and the Company's Article of Incorporation, so as to ensure the smooth operation of the Company.
