ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board of Directors of the "PUBLIC POWER CORPORATION S.A.", by resolution on February 3, 2009, appoints its members Mr. George Mergos and Mr. Panagis Karellas, as members of the Audit Committee supervising the Internal Auditors of PPC S.A. pursuant to Law 3016/2002.
