In response to a relevant question by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission with respect to press articles mentioning that the cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of North Macedonia decided to award the construction and exploitation of hydroelectric projects in the Republic of North Macedonia to the PPC – Archirodon consortium, PPC SA. (“PPC”) announces that:
As PPC has already informed the investors’ community by the announcement dated 3.5.2023, it has submitted an offer, as part of a consortium with Archirodon Group N.V (Archirodon), in the tender launched by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of North Macedonia for the construction and exploitation of the Cebren hydroelectric project with a capacity of 333MW, as well as the exploitation of the already in operation Tikves hydroelectric plant with a capacity of 116 MW on the Crna River of the neighboring country.
Until today, the PPC - Archirodon consortium has not received an official notification by the Contracting Authority of the tender for the final assignment of the project. As soon as PPC is officially informed and the relevant contract has been signed, it will proceed to a new announcement.
