Announcement
Public Power Corporation S.A. (“PPC”) announces that following the repetitive tender process for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the Meliti and /or the Megalopoli subsidiaries, according to Art. 3a Law 4533/2018, on Friday, March 15, 2019, the relevant procedure was completed.
In particular, in accordance with the Joint Invitation to submit an Expression of Interest and Request for Binding Offers of 8.3.2019, the following six (6) Interested Parties (in alphabetical order) submitted their Expression of Interest:
1. BEIJING GUOHUA POWER COMPANY LIMITED AND DAMCO ENERGY S.A. (CONSORTIUM)
2. CHINA WESTERN POWER INDUSTRIAL Co LTD
3. SEV.EN ENERGY AG - INDOVERSE (CZECH) COAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED (CONSORTIUM)
4. ΓΕΚ ΤΕΡΝΑ Α.Ε.
5. ΕΛΒΑΛΧΑΛΚΟΡ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΑ ΧΑΛΚΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΟΥΜΙΝΙΟΥ ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ
6. ΜΥΤΙΛΗΝΑΙΟΣ ΑΝΩΝΥΜΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ – ΟΜΙΛΟΣ ΕΠΙΧΕΙΡΗΣΕΩΝ
PPC ‘s advisors for the tender process shall review and evaluate the submitted Expressions of Interest and submit their report to PPC regarding the Interested Parties which meet the qualification criteria to proceed to the next phase of the tender process.
