Certification according to ISO 45001:2018
The certification of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to the international ISO 45001:2018 standard, helps Companies to demonstrate their commitment to the continuous improvement of the working environment, the quality of work, as well as the satisfaction and well-being of employees in all business units of the Company.
PPC SA, mainly in its production facilities, applies Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), which are gradually certified.
PPC SA has certified Health & Safety Management Systems according to ISO 45001:2018 in the following production units.

Note: PPC S.A. currently applies the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 in the Central and South Field Mines, as well as in the Supporting Units of the West Macedonia Lignite Centre, while the certification of their Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems according to ISO 45001:2018 is in progress.
Finally, the Occupational Health and Safety Department, in cooperation with the Thermal and Hydro Generation Business Unit, has undertaken the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems at PPC S.A.'s HPPs and the process of their certification to ISO 45001:2018.
